I have been wanting to subscribe to Redhotpawn ever since I found out about this website. I have argued with my parents about this issue, but they are totally against it. They tell me I spend too much time on the internet. Do you have any suggestions as to how I should try and convince my parents about letting me subscribe? What should I do? Please help.

Send him a game! Invite him back! He's older now and can probably afford his own subscription! (Heck, he may even have grandchildren!)
I'm really sorry about your Grandmother.
I remember when my Grandfather died. I really admired him. Hardly a day goes by that I don't remember him fondly. My wife and I just had a son. We named him after my grandfather.

Chess is evil.
Originally posted by Red NightNo, they eventually looked at it and bought a subscription for him. Since then he's no longer a minor, and he left the site on his own.
His parents probably looked into the site, saw what goes on here and used the parental block to keep him from coming back.
Good for them!
PS: Stop making assumptions; I'm starting to feel embarrassed for you.
