That would be hilarious. We could start a shrine on the interwebz to him.

Nah, we all got our shots a couple weeks ago. Mine didn't hurt a bit, but I think my wife's arm hurt a little the next day (or maybe it was my son's arm). Anyway, we all made it through ok...

I think.

[I have to admit, I was a little worried too. I can be a bit of a hypochondriac...imagining symptoms that aren't there...conjuring up mental images of the worst possible outcome...etc.]

I had assumed I was just getting the flu shot today. This is my first time getting a flu shot ever!

I got a big surprise when I got to the Doctors office and he told me I was getting the flu shot in one arm the Swine flu shot in the other arm. I never felt a thing so far, knock on wood.

He told me to hang around for 10 or 15 minutes which I did. I drove home with no problems, and everything seems to be ok. I must admit I was a little nervous about the swine flu shot, from hearing the horror stories.

I considered that as I poured myself a drink the evening after my shot. No bad results.

What concerned me most were the "personality changes" you could experience if you had a bad reaction to the shot. How will I know if my personality changes? How would my wife tell me I might be having a reaction to the shot when I'm charging at her with homemade medieval weaponry?

What if my behavior is somewhat erratic to begin with?

So far only the sick, the pregnant or the morbidly obese have been given it.

2 questions: how many burgers do you eat in one sitting and when are you due?

Mine was worst on the third day. Have fun! I hope you don't normally sleep on that side.

Keep the blog going for 30 years, some of the side effects could take that long to emerge.
