Advantage of corner apartment: fewer neighbors, more peace and quiet
Disadvantage of corner apartment: more outside walls exposed to the elements, resulting in an increased utility bill.
The ground floor apartment not only will cost more to heat in the Winter, but is also susceptible to being robbed... consider that.

Since this conversation has now deteriorated into trash it's being relegated to the bin
with two missing wheels in the second basement of the RHP Archives where surplus
shovels and wheelbarrows are usually stored. My thanks to all who remained on topic.
