This looks very interesting. Do you know if it'll work with Vista? It says all versions but then lists them and doesn't mention it.

I played it using the Beta version of Vista Ultimate and it worked fine then.

Best thing to do is download the game software and play the tutorial. If that works fine, the game will work as well.

Good work.

l have enjoyed previous games.

It is free also. You can pay a minimal fee and use the additional functionality that allows.

The game is simple in strict terms - what makes it more complex is the strategies you can adopt; along with the other human players and how you deal with them.

Like Daemon Sin said - have a look at the tutorials - use the rules and have a look at how they work practically using the maps as a guide .

Cheers

Only about 20 rounds into the last game did I figure out I have to actually plunder the territories to get money from them...

It is pretty complex, but the rulebook comes in handy and people, especially allies, are usually quick to help with practical advice.

If you have any questions about rules etc feel free to ask as Crowley said - Allies are good for advice etc- but all should help u with rules.

Well, I think I'll have to say no this time. I just don't have the time to learn it all at the moment. Hopefully next time...

It's really not that bad - about 1 hour per week. That include learning the rules as you go.

Thats right, turns come through (usually) on a Thursday and you have about 5 days to do your moves - especially early on when you do not have a lot you can do it is quite quick. By the time you get large forces to deal with and more diplomacy happening you will eb an old hand with the rules!

Cheers
