I just installed fritz 9. vista complained about "known incompatibility issues", I ignored, and it works perfectly. no problems whatsoever.
if it doesn't work on some computer, I'd give the 'honor' from that to the convekta 'programmer' responsible for ct-art, not vista.

I have a kick ass computer (i wont tell you the specs, it'll make you cry). . . Vista works fine, but i couldn't find the program i needed to tweek with my graphics cards, and it wont let me use a non-microsoft program without me having to let it through all the time. 😛
Originally posted by wormwoodNo, i could get the driver installed, but i had problems with the fan speeds, and couldn't find the drivers to see if there was a way of tweeking them. I installed a program that Hopscotch told me about that changes the fan speed manually, but Vista wouldn't let it run from startup.

oh, and i have two 512mb 8800GT's running SLI. The graphics run like a dream 😛

on the other hand, I can't get trillian to connect properly from startup, so maybe there really is something wrong with the startup directory?
what's the fan throttling software called? I'd need one myself, as the mobo's similar program won't let itself install on vista...

I agree with those who say it's annoyingly sluggish. I also hate that it says I don't have permission to do things! It's MY computer! Of course I have permission! Some of those are really simple things like adding a screen saver or adding a desktop background. I have to save files and manually move them to the right folder. I can't remember the other things it refuses to let me do offhand. Basically, I hate it.
