thanks for this one, bobby...

if i were to make a resolution, resolving to not make a resolution, i have still resolved...
to live by a sense of rightness and compassion, iz a daily goal...
"to do tha next right thing"

this gets recycled not yearly, but monthly...
and not monthly, but weekly...
and not weekly, but daily...
and not daily, but hourly...
and not hourly, but every minute...
every second...
every breath i take...

peace,
rookie

You instinctively riveted on the core quotation, Poet Lariat,

which doesn't surprise me. Pleases me that it pleased you.

If, in the New Year, your wit is marginally less vacuous and half as prolific as your superfluous use of quotes we will all consider ourselves blessed.

If Bobby really does make "sound decisions each new day," rather than resolutions once a year...

he'll never be any better than he is now. 😞

If you gain a little wit, many of us will feel blessed. πŸ˜›

You will be sorry to hear in the New Year, I may be posting less in the GF.

And what would your judgement call for the New Year be about you?

This is what the thread is about, just to set you straight.

Lets hear your New Years Resolutions.

I resolve to make an attempt in 2010 to not be so quick to judge those with little or no education as being marginally more valuable to society than dog crap flavored candy. All the appearance of being productive humans, but, without the pleasant taste.

it's positively creepy how you cozy up to anyone who responds in an even remotely positive way to one of your posts. here's the implicit deal: say something nice about GB and get a slimy compliment back.

i watched Frost / Nixon the other day, and the portrayal of Nixon's ceaseless self-serving reminded me of GB posts. every word out of Nixon's mouth was calculated to further his own ends. fortunately he was caught out and the real Nixon was revealed to the world.

Hey, I still got more money than you. πŸ˜› Doesn't that burn your butt, me having little education. I love it, when you go the education route trying to tell us how bright you are...ROFLMAO... You always make me laugh which gives you some value I guess. πŸ˜‰

You just want to banter with GB, what the hell does this have to do with The Thread Title?

Don't cry when I go into one of your threads and get off topic, I will remind of this one and others.

You're old and tired as well. I have years to go and my lucrative sheep pimping business is taking off with the Japanese tourists.

I sometimes wonder if you even work, honestly.

Will you live long enough to get old? You seem to have something against older men, do they kick your butt too much in the real world, then again on the interwebz?

Listen, too bad with all your education you not smart enough to understand the thread title and what it is about~!

Sheep probably will not be worth much when you are done with them, nor will anyone want anything to do with them. πŸ˜›

Yes, I understand the thread title. I put down my resolution and you tell me why you think it's crap or otherwise wrong. If I wanted that I'd tell my resolutions to my wife. You're like a woman, an old, tired woman with terminal PMS.

Don't worry about the sheep, we'll sell them for school lunches.
