This site is an entertainment and a distraction from the pressures of life.
Whether you agreed or disagreed with No1 (and often I did both).
Whether you hated him for his arrogance and intolerance of those whom he classified as fools or loved him (bit strong maybe) for his willingness to always reply to you and keep a debate hot and lively
Whether he wound you up at some point by implying your opinions, skills or input into a discussion were worthless or indulged you by explaining at length the correctness of his opinions, the extent of his skills and the value of his input.
Whether you liked him for his dogged pursuit of what he believed in or found his intractable positions a despicable characteristic.
At the end of the day he was both entertaining and more often or not an amusing distraction.
I admit I will miss both aspects of his contribution to this sites lively community.
I wish him the very best of luck and hope he comes to rest somewhere that does not make him so god dammed angry all the time.
