@very-rusty saidUderzo was the illustrator and later writer of the Asterix the Gaul comic books. I loved the books when I was younger. Er, and I still love them today.

Branford (sax) and Wynton (trumpet) were the more famous of the bunch, and Ellis was himself a jazz pianist of no weak repute. Another NEA Jazz Master, he was also a well-known award-winning music educator. Another sad day for the world of jazz.
