I am a student who simply cannot afford to fork out the cash at the moment. I assure you, when I am able to, I will gladly subscribe.
If it's a consolation, I will also have my first loss within 24 hours. I would then offer you a game Katty if you wished, but seeing as you are going away soon I dont see the point.
Part of the reason I have not lost any is that I have played quite a few games against people lower rated for various reasons. I played 4 games against someone quite a bit lower rated than me to help him learnt he Nimzovich defence, as I have experience with the opening (indeed, spending 2 of my 6 game max playing both sides of a Nimzovich against him left me with only four games to seek higher rated opponents.) And I am currently just starting against someone with a grade around 1440 who posted asking to play someone 1600-1700 to talk through the game and help him understand my thoughts on the game.
Maybe now I am getting 1700+ opponents deeming me worthy of a game i will lose a few? either way I am glad to start testingmyself against stronger players.
