On this day last year (23 April 2021), it was announced that 1,620,569 people in Indonesia had, up till that point, contracted COVID-19, and 44,007 of them had died. Meanwhile, 101,106 people were still being treated.
The figures today are 6,043,595 people have contracted COVID-19, and 156,054 of them have died. Meanwhile, 19,589 are still being treated.
