I don't often watch telly, but I had it on last night while I was fixing dinner and heard a rather interesting advert which got me thinking.
I'd like to pose the same question here:

If you had to choose only one book to read to your child, what would you choose?
Would you choose something philosophical, historical, scientific, fictional or satirical?
