Sir,
We were talking about "Movie Junkie", not a "Junkie" two different things. It would not be nice to call someone a "Junkie", as one could be refering to a drug addict.

Actually, the film (Cuckoo's Nest) is a departure from the book. Chief Bromden, thought to be a deaf mute, is the narrator and the protagonist, telling the story of his own life as well as the battle of wills between McMurphy and Nurse Ratched. The author, Ken Kesey, didn't like what Hollywood did to his book and reportedly refused to view the finished film, even though it won several Oscars.
