Shouldn't you be in sports explaining your inability to pick teams?

There was NOTHING boring about the Tigers at Twins last evening. I almost could care less who won, and it was a nail-biter.

I just happened to pick the Twins, and they WON!~

It was wick'd awsome!

When I roast a bird, it's about 18 minutes per pound.

I throw 11 or so garlic cloves and two whole onions in. Black pepper and salt is rubbed inside and out of bird.

Near 45 to an hour juices should begin to build up. Baste the bird best you can every 13 to 17 minutes until finished.

Goes great if you make a homemade gravy and simple mashed or baked tates... and corn cobs!

I'll write a reminder to evaluate the pinecones and let you know. When we last talked they were fresh and falling off the tree. Now they might be aged. Is aged bad?

keep the skin on the garlic (i presume you do anyway) and mash the garlic into your potatoes when finished. tastes good and you don't waste all that garlic.

i don't really like the gravy made with chicken

you know i haven't eaten roast chicken like that in ages. leg of lamp was always better for a gravy and making roast potatoes from the juices. and cooking carrots in it... doing stuff like that with chicken juice tastes horrible.

edit: google '40 cloves of garlic chicken recipe'
