Yes, knew I was failing to observe the rule even as I was breaking it

but didn't particularly care at the moment and reasoned, "Hey, it's not

the law of the Medes and the Persians"... and Muppy will understand.

Provided, of course, that you "take a little wine for the stomach's sake" and "be not drunk with wine wherein is excess", and I must say it is strangely uplifting to read that a modicum of benign banter between two souls of differing polarity, can have a beneficial effect upon a third party. πŸ™‚
