And I would like to see your employers acceptable use policy. I would guess there is a clause in there that states your employment can be terminated for improper use of their internet connection. Only problem is that clauses like that give an employer carte blance to determine what is an improper use but improper use is NOT defined prior to any problem. I hold to the (vain?) hope that even if my boss knows I use the net for personal use (thanks Russ, you snitch - I will have my revenge!) he wouldn't care because I do a damn fine job, work many more hours than I'm paid for, and therefore he wouldn't want to get rid of me.
