painter's spider

today i saw a "painter's" spider...these are tiny, tiny little spiders..i think you could fit 20 on dime and they are bright red..a light bright red...they
are called painter spiders as they are usually only seen by house painters..i have seen them over the years..always in the eaves of houses...i have never killed one...i just let them be..such a beautiful creature and so tiny and living up in the eaves and all...saw about 6 honeybees yesterday too..all on a weedy plant on my hillside ( so much worry these days over the absence of the common european honey bee..but there they were..and last week a butterfly..yellow..do not see many butterflies anymore )..looked on google for "red spiders" and in wikipedia for "painter spider" but i did not see this little creature...ever see one ?

i've seen them.

pretty fast for little guys.

i don't think they are spiders though.

No. But I did find a little black spider with a sort of funny red keyhole shape on its back, she's my mate and I keep her in my pocket. 😛

yes..so tiny that they may be a mite...very tiny creatures..if they were not so bright red you might mistake them for a dirt spot on the wood if they were brown or black..

i can't say i've ever seen one...although i don't really know if they live in new hampshire...that's where i live..for about 9 years now...the snow is really coming down outside tonight...i doubt there are any painter's spiders around out there now...or if there are, they're all snuggled up somewhere...i guess we're not that different, them and i...i just began a clause and ended one with i...i just did it again...but back to the point...which was...i like bacon...
