You don't think the parents are responsible for how the child has been allowed to become obsessed by the PC game? And then, when they ridicule and belittle him, he reacts in that way? Kids only mimic what they see. You know this.

Or is the gallon of holy water meant for the parents?

That whole setup seems like it was staged.

Anyway, those 'parents' should be sterilised and the kid aborted for being a complete douche. I LOVED computer games as a kid and spent days playing non-stop some times, but even kids need to understand where to draw the line...

Kids only know where to draw the line only if the example is set. I agree with you that it somewhat seemed a bit staged. Especially for a child to say, "You're gonna put this on the internet, I know you are." His words may be innocent, but maybe this is something those 'non-parents' do all the time - to get a few hits and a few bob, to fuel their own deviance. Whatever the reality, I didn't find it a comforting way of dealing with a child and the problem. I'm sure you didn't too! 😉

Not at all, those people need a good smack upside the head, whether this was fake-and-gay or not.

While my girls don't play many video games by choice, my son (age 8) has to be policed in this regard. He needs a time limit daily and he has CRIED when I take him off the Wii or PC. I'm not a games person so I totally don't get it.
