My point is that you're an amateur, you only do it for love. You're not ready to put your life on the line for your music.
I take issue with your implied suggestion that Phlabs or my music is any less valid because it is not our source of income...In fact where you pulled that one from puzzles me...i can only guess it's dark and smelly, with a smattering of this mornings breakfast still lingering.

Huck certainly never claimed to be a star of any kind either. Even the few people who are kind enough to listen to (tolerate) our music would never claim we're the best around.
Why don't you share more of your music in the forums... no one said you can't also do what Huck and I do. If it's not something you want to do, I've got no idea why you seem offended that 2 'amateurs' are posting songs while a handful of users either enjoy it... or enjoy hating it.
Write a song, do a cover... we'll rock it and I'm sure it'll be much better than Huck or I can do (Well, me anyway... Huck's pretty good I think).
Wait a minute! Your chess rating is about 1360 or so! I figured my guitar rating was around 1250 at best.
