Is Planet Earth "blue"? Is there a widespread pessimism about the state of the world? Do you share it? Or do you sense optimism?

Is it right to say that there's nothing we can do? What do you think about the pessimism/optimism and defeatism/activism dichotomy, assuming you think there is one?

To what degree are you sitting in a tin can of your own making? Are you insulated from the debate or from taking action by your personal circumstances?

I'm just sitting here watching the wheels go round and round
I really love to watch them roll
No longer riding on the merry-go-round
I just had to let it go

I just have to start out by saying how much I enjoy He Who Must Not Be Named's music. Not so much because I'm a fan but mostly as a tongue outcropping.

Earth is more of a yellow green mix set to bleed into red; blue comes after.

"Nothing I can do" is key to understand but how does one get to we? Especially when so much we is one thing that needs doing about.

Self-interest is our tin can.

More fakery trying to prove the earth is a sphere.

Fear, greed, anger, despair and also perhaps a fragment of underdone potato.
