Why are they all copy my style before I perfected it?
Hmmmm?
It took 57 second to run from the top of the quarry heap to the camera, and they stretched it in slow mo to fit the song. Top of the Pops wouldn't let them play a song live unless it had a video.
quiet-loud was a style, nothing really deep or complicated. simply sing part of the song loud and part quiet this also applies to the tempo, switch it up and down. ive got a better example than the pixies as they were a band, not a solo guitarist, have a look at this chap. his guitar playing switches style and pace to help puncuate the lyrics. i think this mixed with his style of singing makes him more of a poet/storyteller feel.

I agree with GBS, maybe some candles in the background like Grohl:

Nice song, though I think you would sound better in a lower octave.
If he sang any higher, the neighbour's dog would go into heat.

Possibilities will also be re-done soon, I forgot my 'outro'.
It was a poem from a notebook I got at the thrift store. Plus, everyone hated my lighting for this Phil In the Garage.
