If you used sane measurements, that wouldn't be a problem. 500g of egg, 500g of butter, 500g of flour, 500g of sugar. Grammes are the same for dry and liquid goods, unlike gills or hundredweights. And there's no Troy or apothecary grammes, either.

Mind you, whatever weight system you use to get rid of an emu is a good one. Nasty, vicious blighters.
