Interesting (or not) trivia question: Bert and Ernie are named after characters
from which film?

Dave, I don't hink there's anything wrong with posting non-chessic
items. We all have a life and interests apart from chess, don't we? I
think you can introduce any subject -and yes, I mean decent ones- at
the Forum. Why not? It's nice to know others' opinions, interests,
hobbies, etc. With mutual consent it can eventually even be continued
through personal e-mail address once there's enough confidence.
For instance: are there any Bob Dylan Freaks out there? Jazz-freaks?
Charles Bukowski? Henry Miller?... Jan

i'm a dolls house freak. its amazing how you get addicted to these
things. i wouldnt be surprised if psycologists read all these posts and
go away and write papers.we probably end up reading chess players
have an addictive jean.

No doubt about that, Lyn. How many dolls do you have? I have none.

What's 1/12? The scale I suppose... But I'm from the metrical part of
the globe, so, I have no idea how small they are. Do you have to
clean the house and its inhabitants every week? Keeps you busy. Just
rambling a bit. Not yet fully awake this morning. Cheerio! Jan

My guess would be that they are 1/12th the size of real teddies.
Or maybe teddies that are 1/12th the size of people?
So, which is it? Are they people sized for this house or normal teddy-
bear-sized for this house?

sorry for the delay, been on holiday.
they are scaled to the house, like real people,so they are 1/12th size
of an adult, or child, or baby. the fantacy is they live there.
so they are people sized teddies.if you are really interested i can give
you a web site to view/buy them.but any search engine would take you
there.

Actually cut it out at work on our waterjet. It is within .002 perfect on
every angle, window, door, etc... She is very happy with it.
