A portable memory stick..I keep one on my keychain and it's great.
I just plug it into any computer with USB and upload/download data. Have alot of important documents? Just scan them in and put them on your memory stick and carry copies of hundreds of documents around on your keychain.

Now the obigatory chess ideas:
'Reassess Your Chess' (Silman), 'Complete Book of Chess Strategy' (Silman), 'The Chess Doctor' (Pandolfini), 'Chess Thinking' (Pandolfini), 'Ultimate Guide to Chess' (Pandolfini), The complete 'Play Winning...' series (Seirawan) and my favorite 'Korchnoi's 400 Best Games' (Korchnoi). Tell buyers to be careful when buying books by Jeremy Silman because he also writes books on Buddism and business strategy.

I don't know what they are called but a squashy thing to rest your wrist on whilst using a mouse is a must.

Got one last week and the pain is gone!

I kind of got into trouble a couple of weeks ago for buying my own christmas present while out getting groceries on a Sunday morning - well, I was told it was my christmas present when I got home.

I went out to get some stuff for lunch and a newspaper, and came home with an X-Box and Halo 2 (and some really nice cheese and stuff for lunch... it didn't really work)

I was thinking of getting one of these.
I have seen 128Mb cards for a shade over £10.
Do you need anything else (a reader, adaptor, etc), or just the cards?

In Australia, you can now get a 512 for under 200 dollars AU.
