Hi guys / girls

I've chatted a bit with Russ and Plabbibit and I've decided I'm going to put up a companion site.

I promised Phla when he started the stocks thread that I would help him set up a web based stocks game, so I'm going to try and implement this on the site (rather late than never - I hope you're still willing to help me with this feature Trav).

I'm also going to set up a developers section where all the developers can more easily discuss RHP related dev stuff (the dev forum here is hardly ever used) and a space where RHP related tools can be downloaded / used etc.

Maybe I'll include a section where avatars can be hosted for people who can't readily find a place on the web to host it. I've got 1GB space, so I might do it.

There might also be a chess section with help, software databases, tools etc. (for the chess laymen like me) if I can find someone who'd be willing to help me with that... Any volunteers? Preferably good chess players 😉


Now, what I want from you guys is feature suggestions that you'd like to see and very importantly, suggestions for a name 😛

Any help you can offer would also be appreciated - if you know PHP, MySQL and XML.
Please feel free to reply here with suggestions etc. or PM me.

I'm doing this for 2 reasons:
1. I've got to practice web design, as I only recently started concentrating on really incorporating it in my business.
2. I love this site 😳

Great ideas, way to go! I can't offer you help because I have no skills to offer, but I do offer my support! I'd love to see this happen and look forward to see it's development.

Travis, I hope you are still interested in doing the stocks thing! It would probably be so much easier to keep up having it web-based, huh?

Great idea Werner,unfortunately I cant offer much help as far as the technical stuff is concerned either but I will suggest a name or two in the near future.

I dont understand why no one seems to be interested as this new site will obviously contribute to the RHP package.

I've got some work already done including some of the stocks game that I wanted to develop with Phlabbibit.
I'll probably have something up by the end of the month if I'm not too busy.

I only need to decide on a cool name for the site...

YAY! Well, keep me posted. If the stock game were auto it would be so much better... Math is hard!!!
