Well done, Niallone (x3) & Ddv. Great work.
That was a fun round. My photographic efforts could have done better, but I was quite pleased with the 4th spots for Dusk and Ocho Rios. Thanks to those who voted for them.
The detective work was good fun too.
A big thanks to Nordlys for all the hard work.
Thanks to everyone for the votes and comments. I'm very glad with the votes I got. I was quite surprised so many people liked 'Help', I thought I would be the only one that liked that picture.
Congratulations to all participants, this was a fun round. And special congratulations to Niallone for being RHP's über photographer.

"Rose" is a picture that maybe should have been in my list - it's very well done and fits the category perfectly. But it's so cliché that it made me cringe so much that I just couldn't make myself vote for it. By the way, is that some sort of wire wrapped around it? Poor thing.
I was delighted when I saw it cos I knew I was struggling for the red round (This was even before Noodles resurrected the comp). There is indeed wire wrapped around it.
I felt it was cliched myself, but didn't have anything techically better. And red.
I am surprised that nobody apart from Niallone played with the colours' associated emotion, like blue=sad, red=angry and yellow=scared. I tried to come up with something angry to represent red, but didn't really think of anything in the time I had.

Congrats to everyone. Well done to Niallone who is, indeed, running away with these competitions and deservedly so.
Congrats to Nordles for "Blue beads" and thanks are due too for her efforts.
Surprised Red Strats and Red Hot Music where not done by the same photographer. I liked both of those particularly.
Originally posted by NordlysThanks to all for votes and kind/considerate comment. And congrats to all. This was indeed a challenging round, but thats the best of this competition it motivates us to go out and take pictures that we otherwise wouldn't (what other reason for taking pictures of a blue bear or lying in a field staring at clouds up a pole)
And here are the results! First of all, Gatecrasher is awarded the title of Detective of the Round, in addition to Gatecrasher of the Round! As for the winning pictures, almost all prizes go to Niallone (as usual). Congratulations for winning in the categories Blue and Yellow with good margins, and a narrow, but deserved win for the overall winner of the rou ...[text shortened]... rdlys) 0

Edit: Oops, the points for Blue got lost on the way.
Thats what I'll miss about the competition. the 'must-find' pictures, the regular quest for inspiration but above all the feedback and encouragement
Thanks all! Great job once more!

Originally posted by NialloneEven though I'll stop running the comp after the next two rounds, there's still a chance that someone else will take over. The interest seemed to have faded before the long break, but judging from this round, it's back now, so I think it would be worthwhile. Personally I would love to see it go on.
