As it Looks now it would have been nice if the Reginald Story would have made the cut, but alas, the rules were fixed before.
@wolfe63 saidI too thought there were 5 clearly superior entries.
This year there are at least 5 solid selections that deserve to be #1. Displayed here is a high caliber of creativity. The effort that it takes to write originally cannot be under-rated. Thus it's difficult to make hair-splitting choices. But make them we must:
1pt. - "Mr. Wilson's Board Meeting"
3pts.- "Lockdown"
5pts.- "This Little Piggy"
But I had only one of your top 3 in there!
All a matter of taste and they were all clearly very good.
@ponderable saidHaving the final round is an interesting twist this year. Hope it goes swimmingly.
I will post comments on the stories after the curtain fell, and I want to encourage you to do the same.
Eight stories got a first place vote at least once, which shows the quality of the competition.
😀
@wolfgang59 saidDid you even vote?

Anyway, criteria dependent decisions were not easily made.
One man's candy,
can taste sweeter than...
another's honey.
But in the end,
it's just flavor...
as nourishing as,
golden money.
Thank you Ponderable!
I've bumped your results for convenience.

@paul-a-roberts saidI'm sure Ponderable, the splendid fellow that he is, will enlighten us shortly.
What duration is planned for the second round of voting?
I assume if there is ultimately a draw that a third round will be needed.
Is 3 days long enough? Or a full week?
@ponderable saidWell I missed to set the correct time, so it is only three days. However the first ten votes are in.
Actually we didn't specify this. I would still give a week.
Now I will set up the voting, so you can enjoy the final results next Sunday at Tea time 😉
@ghost-of-a-duke saidI voted by PM in the first round as I didn't want to influence anyone.
I believe Wolfgang is saving his powder for the final round.
😆
I believe I was the second person to vote.
