So we already have a Suggestion for a Topic and two supporting Voices.

I would take up the responsibility for running the contest again...but only if nobody else wants to do it.

It is scary how Ghost has a supernatural talent for winning this competition. Still, I would consider entering, just to make it a race for second or third place.
Nonsense sir, I can barely formulate a transpicuous sentence.

Goad is giving a subtle clue that he is going to be writing about Transylvania.
Or is he bluffing. (As in Bluffy The Vampire Slayer)
Very clever, I salute you Sir.

Thank you for offering to oversee the contest again, and I'm all for the horror/supernatural, my mind barely sways from those thoughts anyway...

I would be pleased to attempt a few lines of prose under Ponderable's experienced direction. He is kindly, competent and I expect, a fine arbiter of all that's fair.

I love the topic as well.
Time to consult my Ouija for ideas. πŸ™‚

It may be customary for you to sandbag your talents as befits the modesty of a gentleman:
But, I sense that you're about to produce a great tale of trepidation from beneath that dusty cupboard below the stairs. You are THE GHOST after all! πŸ™‚

Well the Ghost starts as favourite. Lets see if Mike will take part he won a few times in the past. And we always had some good stories from the other starters.

Don't forget the lovely Drewnogal. Her stories were well received...actually as were all of those put forward. Imagination is a wonderful thing.

All of them were interesting - I look forward to this round, will not contribute though.

πŸ˜• This was the nearest I could find to a modesty emoticon.

(And these days I tend to write in the far corner of a coffee shop).

If that's the case perhaps this one would be more suitable 😲 depending, I suppose, on the amount of coffee consumed while writing.
