It would also have worked for Red to see Jake with some other crows near the hostel perhaps. Although we would have not been able identify Jake the inference would have provided a satisfying emotional release after the sad lonely death of Brooks.
Key part of the movie missed for me not showing what happened to Jake, he should have been in the last scene in Mexico.

@torunn saidIndeed, and leaving other non-GF related conflicts aside, it should be reasonable to politely disagree on topics without it becoming an issue. I try to keep the various streams of forum interaction emotionally separate otherwise it can be difficult to enjoy threads because they become infected by other stuff elsewhere.
True, there must be a variety of threads or we get bored. 🙂
