SA 189/0 in 36 or so overs. A comprehensive thrashing with Graeme Smith on 134 not out off 124 balls. Damnit, I missed the whole innings from having to go a school function which incidentally happens to be his former primary school.

What an innings by Smith!
And what a thrashing for India.
Although I do wonder if Hall should have been in the team - rubbish bowling and a slow innings but Smith was going so well at the other end it didn't matter.

Too bad Smivvers didn't give Hall a chance to finish with his 50.
It was a really out of character innings for Hallie, he usually smacks it all over the place. And he is a good death bowler, wasn't a bad show...

Smith is realy maturing into a awesome attacking opener. He's gonna go on to to great things...

I listened to the last three balls on the way back. I didn't realise, but Smith's scored five ODI centuries this year after playing 50 games without one. It seems he's arrived.

Yes, 5 ODI tons this year, and how many before that? None!

Plus, he apparently demolished the Aussie bowlers whilst playing for Somerset in a one day game against them this summer.
His two double tons against England in 2003 were...good 😛

He took three wickets with his bowling and scored 48 while his partner was smashing it all over the park. Sounds like a pretty fine performance to me.

Yeah, it turned out alright.
But his bowling was getting smacked about and he did block an awful lot. Didn't follow the end of his innings, he may have sped up.
