How ironic for you to start this thread.
By now you should know that sarcasm is not something we welcome around
these here parts
irony: the use of words to convey a meaning that is the opposite of its literal meaning
sarcasm: a sharply ironical taunt; sneering or cutting remark
What I understand from your statements:
{1} that in your opinion Red Night was not making truthful, honest, sincere statements in his/her posting
{2} that in your opinion I was not making truthful, honest, sincere statements in my posting
I have no knowledge of your interaction with Red Night and would not presume to either support or defend your statement regarding him/her.
But I do object to your making assumptions in regard to my posting, since they are unprovoked, unwarranted and untrue. I do believe that what I posted is a truthful and sincere statement of my honest opinion on the topic.

If that's a fair sample of your TV programming, GalaxyShield, I'll bring my Travel Games set when I visit your country, thanks.

So I think actually ya have a lot!!
Originally posted by yo its meYes, it can change depending on perspective. But considering I don't watch most of the programs I listed, or can't because the channels don't come in (CBS and ABC), there's basically 3. PBS is good for science, NBC for comedy and Fox for House (about all Fox is good for). I'd say we're more evenly matched then you might think. 😉

I live in the backblocks, 4 hours from anywhere, in Australia, noted for its poor communication services.
I have 3 commercial TV channels, all available on analog and digital and now HD digital. They show mostly American imports, quiz shows and reality stuff.
I also have 2 government-funded channels, one which takes most of its programming from local productions and the UK. The other concentrates on minority-interest programming, such as documentaries, and arthouse movies, from anywhere in the world, always subtitled if necessary - very little comes from either US or UK. Currently following Austrian and Danish detective series on that, also a truly-international daily news program complete with world weather forecasts. Every one of these channels shows sporting events.
Oh, and I also have fast video mobile network access, and a 1.5 mps ADSL link running 5 computers and 4 telephones on my "landline".
I could have cable (by satellite) but I've never bothered because I'm spoiled for choice already.
[edit] sorry for the brag, usually we're on the wrong end of things here, but just for once I think I'm doing pretty well.
