A recent film I found unsettling was Hereditary with Toni Collette and Gabriel Byrne.

The first Jurassic Park movie. I hadn't been that scared in a long time. 😳
Perhaps you don’t go to the movies very often.

I love horror films and must have watched hundreds including all the ones mentioned here. The scariest one I have ever seen is 'Case 39.'
I really felt I was in the presence of pure evil and the movie chilled me to the bone.

Based on how it made you feel at the time of viewing, what is the scariest film/films you ever sat through, or part way through?
I went to see the original "The Blair Witch Project" (1999)... at the theatre... we were told, and we believed, it was real footage found in the woods.

For the first two days after its release everyone thought it was real footage. It scared the piss out of me and a lot of other people.

After we found out it was just a movie it wasn't scary at all. 🤔

Saw (2004).

Psychological horror always gets me, like a punch in the gut.

All that jangling around of the camera eventually makes me want to throw up, every time.

I don’t really like horror films, but as a child I remember being really scared of the monkeys in the Wizard of Oz.

Are you easily scared by movies then? Some people are more so than others.

Some people cry very easily at emotional movies.
