To Hispanics chilli doesn't have beans
So what others call chilli, they have no word for so I suggested Chilli del Gringo. lol
Locally red chilli is pared up with a cinnamon roll
We also put Fritos in chilli.

They (Mexican-Americans) just call chili (one L) with beans "chili beans".

Red chili is very meat intensive and spicy (to gringos) and is suitable for enchiladas and burritos. Green chili (Chili Verde) is the most awesome thing in burritos. Both are usually pork.

It pays to follow good taco trucks around the Valley.


Disclaimer: I see that chilli is the spelling in the UK as well as many countries in the southern hemisphere. The most common spelling of the pepper, not the dish, is chile.
