Not in theory, I'm sure it is entirely possible for a stable, happy person to chose to be on their own. But in your case, it sounds incredibly like you're trying to convince yourself, not me.
How truly little you know of me.

I know that there has to be one out there somewhere. I'll never find it in this little backwoods town though. I'm not even sure if you can buy typewriter ribbon anywhere anymore. 😕
I would truly love to own one.

My son bought one at a yard sale for 25 cents, so I'm sure lots of people have them in their attics.

Well, that's true. We RHPers don't really know any more about you than we knew about TommyBear - and look where that ended up. Maybe you are one of TommyBear's other identities?

I don't buy stuff online. If I did I would be filing banckrupcy within weeks. Have to set limits for myself. I am a complete shopoholic. I would just like to run across one somewhere one day in a rustic little shop in one of those meant to be moments.

What's wrong with being flirty? Truth be known I've only had three relationships in my life. None of them ever brought me happiness (with the exception of my children) My moments of happiness have only occured while single and persuing my own interests. I have always put a couple years between men and have enjoyed my life emmensly while doing things on my ow ...[text shortened]... than than men. That doesn't mean flirting can't be a fun and harmless way to pass the time. 😀
I have to say that I really appreciate this point of veiw, especially in light of the fact that its coming from a woman.
