All that innocent people dying for nothing.
They didn't die for nothing. Americans are getting cheap oil now.

An "Internet troll" or "Forum Troll" or "Message Board Troll" is a person who posts outrageous message to bait people to answer. Forum Troll delights in sowing discord on the forums. A troll is someone who inspires flaming rhetoric, someone who is purposely provoking and pulling people into flaming discussion. Flaming discussions usually end with name calling and a flame war.

You don't agree with my post? That's fine, but I fail to see how it's a trolling post?

Also, I don't think you should call me a troll, as that will just show your hypocrisy...

I believe the intent was to show us all what trolling actually is, and a fine example by RN.

Of course this is all left up to the "Grey Area" Moderators discretion, so I guess you can actually throw what "trolling is" out, as it boils down to Moderators discretion, which can differ from Moderator to Moderator, from what I have seen and "experienced".

EDIT: I still say by the definition it self, anyone who posts can be considered a troll, not to be confused with the troll who lives under the bridge. 😛 😉

EDIT 2: I personally think your post was very distasteful and uncalled for, and should be removed.

The human loss and suffering in absolute terms as well as in historical context, Mr. Crowley, was real. Your dismissive post, at best, provides

feeble linkage to that 9/11/01 reality and is also factually incorrect. Otherwise, kudos for a clever sound/post bite... though grossly spurious.

It should be removed because Exxon recorded record profits while the price of gas went up for US citizens.

I hope avenging 3,000 dead civilians by killing 3,000 afghan civilians, 90,000 iraq civilians, setting up concentration camps, allowing torture, giving up civil rights guaranteed by constitution was all worth it.

well, I guess it's all good, as long as the lucrative oil relations between the president of u.s. and saudi arabia, the homeland of most of the wtc attackers (none of which were from iraq nor afghanistan), are preserved.

I don't think that one can argue that the subsequent events legitimize the attacks of 9/11 anymore than one can argue that the 9/11 attacks legitimized the subsequent events.

The people who died on 9/11 came from many countries:

United States 2106
United Kingdom 53
India 34
Dominican Republic 25
Jamaica 21
Japan 20
China 18
Colombia 18
Canada 16
Germany 16
Philippines 16
Trinidad and Tobago 15
Guyana 14
Ecuador 13
Italy 13
Ukraine 11
Korea 9
Poland 8
Russia 8
Haiti 7
Ireland 7
Pakistan 7
Taiwan 7
Cuba 6
Yugoslavia 6
Others 143

They all had one thing in common, they were average working people trying to make a living until their lives were untimely ended by a tragic attack.

No matter how much you hate the US, George Bush, the Iraq War, the price of Gasoline, Exxon's profits, torture, the Patriot Act, long lines at airports, the abridgement of Habeus Corpus, illegal wire taps, or any of the myriad other subsequent events; YOU CANNOT use that hatred to justify what was a heinous crime against humanity.
