Sounds about right.[hidden]One Question: Where do Facebook, online correspondence chess game and public forum sites fit within the scheme?[/hidden]
If'n it ain't sleepin' or workin' it's the other one. 😛
Fellowship is what we call that stuff. 🙂

Sometimes 8 hours isn't always long enough, is it?

I can't answer that right now because I'm in my sleep time. 😛

In Sweden seasonal change differs from ours. Does absence of sunlight for many hours interfere with your sleep routines?
Not me personally - instead it can be dificult to go to sleep in the summer sometimes as it doesn't get dark enough at night. There are people who find winter darkness depressing and try cures with 'light therapy'.

To anyone who was once married and is now alone:
Did you sleep more soundly when sharing your bed than sleeping alone?

I can only sleep alone, not even grandchildren share my bedroom.

Incredible physical exercise regimen, Phranny. Does your ancestral line enjoy robust health and longevity?
Longevity seems to be in the genes despite limited physical activity on the part of the rest of the clan. I think I'm just hyperactive plus I adore being out in Nature. Also, exercise can become addicting due to the release of feel good internal hormones that are better than the drugs dispensed by the Dr. or your neighborhood dealer.

There is no sleep as sound and wonderful as that in the arms of your loved one following a great organsm. Just my experience....

Once in great while I have a strong urge to nap but always set the alarm for 45 min. at the most. Long naps leave me feeling groogy and somehow displaced, perhaps at having missed a chunk of the day. I generally try to work through the urge.

I get 4-5 hrs nightly. Too much of it is in a sort of limbo, with dreams on one side and the world on the other. I routinely have serial dreams - unusual and noteworthy (though unconclusive) experiences; wake up to pee and hydrate; then back to the story. My subconscious is a pain in my ass. so to speak
