I encounter snakes weekly, as a habitat experience.
The Thai King Cobra, rat eaters, snail eaters, and even the odd green mamba.
They don't attack unless pursued or threatened, and therefore it's not a big issue.
They are of interest, but approcahing them deliberately is not advisable, as these are really wild creatures going about their daily feeds.
I nearly stood on a cobra, last year, as it was so well camouflaged. It didn't raise itself to me, but rather tried to hide more!
