lol, you've obviously never been in London when it snows before 🙂 What Freddie means is that it's a sleety sort of white rain and upon contact with the ground it instantly turns to mush and then water, it soaks you to the skin and freezes overnight. London snow is a bit grim 🙂

NO!!!! this is proper snow...it's settled and you can make snowmen with it and snowballs and knock pensioners off bikes with it 😉 etc....its very good snow surprisingly lol! plus they say it will probably snow properly again tonight and we still have another 9 hours of night so im still holding out for school to be cancelled!

fred

edit = realised i didn't put a wink after the pensioners bit lol..that would just be harsh...middle aged men i do but not pensioners!

I was in NYC one winter and it was snowing. My frined started pelting me with snowballs and suddenly I was being hit from behind as well. We were walking through a neighborhood and several guys were using me for target practise and helping my frioend! I was forced to kill them all with snow.

Northern East Coast... tonight we should get about 8 inches (20cm?).

We got about 4 inches half a week ago... and about 4 feet a few weeks back. I don't mind the snow, that is why I live where I do. I couldn't live someplace you don't have 4 seasons.... makes summer spring, and fall that much better.

It's okay for the first 30 years of your life... 🙂
But after that, you dred having to shovel the driveway, have wet feet when you walk thru it, and slide off the road into a ditch because of it.

After that it's just not the same. <Sigh>

I am at my 24th year of life and I have to say that I already hate it. I especially hate that cold wet snow that seeps into your bones and makes you shiver for weeks on end. 🙁

I love snow, I never shovel it, and I don't much walk through it, unless I'm playing in it. That gives me a good exscuse to make hot cocoa.

I also have yet to drive into a ditch. Most I ever drove in was 3 1/2 feet though. Here where I live we just don't get enough snow, and none to speak of this year.

Three years ago it snowed and the view overlooking the lake and the mountains was breathtalking.

"Most I ever drove in was 3 1/2 feet though." I would guess that's a typo and you meant 3-1/2 inches(?) See, in some parts of the US they do measure the amount of snow in feet. Just saw a train video the other day about clearing the railroad tracks in the mountains, which, with drifts was 22 ft! 🙄

Where do you live that you rarely get snow?

That's not fair...I want some snow. It's summer here and some days it gets up to about 83F. Half and hour of snow would be great to play in and make a snowman with, which is something I have never had the chance to do. 🙁

I have no use for snow. Vile stuff. Give me 80 degrees (F) all year around and I'd be perfectly happy. Wouldn't mind if I never saw another flake of snow again. But as I live in Michigan, I guess I'm doomed to about four months worth of it each year (or more).
