@lemondrop saidHell, You'd throw a party who you think is going to buy that story about the tears?
I would cry if you got snuffed
cry, cry, cry

@hakima saidThank you Hakima - we do what we must. If that isn't enough, then so be it.
Torunn, from every post of yours that I have read, I perceive that you are a woman of compassion and reason. You do not have to justify to anyone here
It sounds like a lovely day and I hope you find the sweetest joy in it.

@very-rusty saidI have no reason to believe that anybody in this forum will die of the corona virus.
So are your predicting no one here will die because of Covid-19?

@very-rusty saidEvery. Single. Day.
Everyone is free to do as they please, there are also risks to doing that which one has to accept and acknowledge in advance.

@very-rusty saidI wasn't talking about the site, but in this forum.
We will lose people from the Covid-19 on this very site, I don't know how you can't see that.
-VR
@torunn saidThat is also possible!...None of us are immune from this Covid-19! Those who think they are not at risk. Like the idiots we had here in Nova Scotia gathering at the beach around the first day of spring because it was warm, after being told not to gather in crowds more than 5. We have the second lowest total in Canada but are also one of the smaller Provinces. Because of those idiots we now have the State of Emergency act implemented.

@very-rusty saidThat sounds a bit careless to me too. If however you minimize your activities as much as you can and use common sense, then there isn't much more we can do for the time being.

@torunn saidYou sound to be like you are just thinking of yourself by meeting with your daughter.

Common sense tells you that is not a good thing to do, it is the easy thing to do but could wind up being dangerous, you have no way of knowing.
I agree you should use a little COMMON SENSE!!!!

@very-rusty saidYou are wrong. She wanted to see me, she needed my help. She is 53 years old and can take care of herself. I was not doing it for me, I didn't need help. It was not the easiest thing to do. Saying 'no' would have been easier.

@very-rusty saidI don't think you can speak on behalf of common sense.

Buffoonery maybe...
@ghost-of-a-duke saidSo you think it is a smart thing for her to meet with her daughter even though it has been advised against doing so?
I don't think you can speak on behalf of common sense.
Buffoonery maybe...
And you call me a Buffoon. (eye roll)
I thought you were smarter than that!
