due to a lack of commitment and people wanting it to be london or up north (to what i say why don't you organise one ) i have regretfully had to cancel this which is quite dissappointing as i was prepared to make the journey whilst others were not.
perhaps i should not have so niave to think that i could organise a meet up and might be a reason why there hasn't been that many in the past
interestingly the admins have removed it as well from meet ups so must have been reading my mind
I apologise to the 2 people on here who confirmed they might be able to attend but think maybe 3 would be too small for a long journey for those people.
They were initially a regular thing in London, I think we had 4 of them. I think that when the TSM crowd started antagonising the general populace the community feeling here changed and there's not the extended goodwill that had previously been held. Consequently I don't think people can now remove themselves enough from the tribal nature of present day RHP. This, coupled with the disappearance of some key posters has left the meet-ups feeling somewhat comme les neiges d'antan.
Perhaps the snows will fall again some time soon, I like snow.

Although i do agree with your second point about the absence of regular posters.
