I'm actually glad you beat me to this.
You aren't sharp enough to have thought about that to begin with Suzie Q!!! I don't mean to hurt your feelings just being honest with you. That is why you look up to goad! 😉

I've already had a glass of wine.

(In my defence am off work this week).

I bought a guitar hoping to teach myself, but there's an obvious flaw with this plan. I need to learn from someone who actually knows what they're doing (duh). So it'll have to wait until after this COVID thing dies down. Not sure my piano fingers could handle the stress of becoming guitar fingers anyways.
Years ago my then 15 year old daughter, thought she like to join a band. She had already learned to play the piano and clarinet (with teachers for both) but decided that Goth bands (the band she wanted to join) didn't need either of those instruments. She chose, instead, to become a lead guitar player. She bought an electric guitar and amp and went on the internet and watched youtube videos. In about 4 months she had become a decent guitarist, well good enough to join the high school Goth band. That lasted about 6 months before it disbanded. She still picks up her guitar on occasion, when she has the time though her choice in musical genre's has changed to a less frenetic one. 🙂

Congrats! Enjoy (I know you will).

It's looking more and more like a three-day weekend for me.

Does that translate to 3 days of drinking? 😉

Then with the marital arts you have to be careful not to break a hand!

That happened to me in my Origami class.

Hah! Good for her.

I'm lucky I went the path of piano over guitar.

I woulda ended up as a blonde Joan Jett or Suzi Quatro (Suzi played bass, though).

Here's a totally charming Suzi Quatro video:

That's not honesty, it's hostility. Ask your oh, so principled mentor.

Love Suzi Q.
'If you can't give me love' reminds me of grooving around at the school disco.
