Lol... I didn't say kill them did I? I said let nature take its course, so actually - not in my face! 😛 Survival of the fittest in the animal kingdom has nothing to do with Buddhism! So what was shameful that I wrote? 😉

balance young gwasshopper, balance. If we are to disdain the life of a single squirrel in
this hawk eat squirrel world, shall we not engender at least a little empathy for his
cause. If i had him killed, for no other reason that he wanted to co-habit in a little
space in someone's loft, would not the very universe cry out in anger at the injustice of
it all? In other words, Karma would see to it that i suffered for the crime.

Errm hold on a minute!!

I seem to recall it was yourself finding the righteousness to go and interfere, and trap the little things. So before you bring in any other religion other than your own, don't throw stones from glass houses... 😴 etc.

i was simply responding to a call from a desperate friend who thought that they would chew through her water tank and flood the house and cost thousands of pounds worth of damage, you know how crazy chicks can be! anyhow, i did not want to trap the little things, i was glad that they went free and certainly in all respects I behaved as best i could under the circumstances. Nor was i intending to throw stones at your religion, i was just making fun, so please relax Mike dude, there is nothing to be won or lost here.

He was grey! you can kill them with impunity. Had he been red, well, that's a different
matter I believe, in Scotland anyway.

No sir, I love animals and do my best to protect their rights. I remember one comedian said squirrels are just rats with bushy tails. If they weren't so furry and cute they would just be another rodent/pest.
I used to enjoy feeding them while camping when I was younger. One large squirrel near our cabin was pretty tame. He would hop up in my lap when I ate peanuts and beg for one. 🙂

I hadn't seen a red squirrel until late last year... clearly the fault of the gray squirrel. Think of all those poor little red squirrels when setting the traps.
