Is there anyone more important than herself?

Yes, her children for starters, providing she has any! 😉 Maybe her mother? Perhaps even her husband?

agree, but her husband is not the one to ask as he is biased and going to say she looks good in it rather she does or not! That is what we do. Well most of us anyways, I would tell what I really thought. some say I am more honest than I should be at times.

She doesn't have to worry about what others think and say - her own opinion is what matters.

Not all excellent questions can be answered with a simple truthful statement. They can be complex, nuanced, and even beyond understanding. For instance, when my hubby says that I look really nice in this thing that I've tried on and I obviously don't. Can I ask him if he really means that and expect an honest answer? Really? Okay, I admit it. He did try an ...[text shortened]... would. Is it wrong to just try something on though? Isn't it okay to just ask a simple question?
"hubby" - nice word.

Then why on earth would she ask to begin with?

Good question, better than my answer.

I don't know if it is better, but one wouldn't ask the question if one didn't care. Just asking says that the person does care what others think. I wouldn't know what that was like. (Caring what others like/think).

You are right, of course - somestimes we need a second opinion.
