The people of the US have little concept of how the remainder of the world feels about them. We are very isolated and contained. We ignore the rest of the world and we do as we wish, includiong attacking other countries to fulfill our own agendas. We decide what is right and then force people to conform. This is wrong.
Americans have the right to love and disagree with their country's policies. So do people in many other countries.
You act as though The Us is free of commiting atrocities. Sorry. not true. One only has to look at the European Americans' treatment of the native americans to know that we have been as viscious as the Nazis. Custer, in one attack (Washitaw river massacre) wiped out an entire tribe of women, children and elderly. We took a majority of the Cherokee nation and moved them from the east coast to Oklahoma. (Sounds a bit like the jews being moved to concentration camps. The Us has blood on its hands,, just as every other country, religion, ethnic group etc. does. No ones hands are clean in this world.
So why try to blame a young german women for Hitler's atrocities?
What I was trying to say before, and indeeed have said to you a few times here in the forums is, I don't think you do much for the USA's image. When I called you hon, I was trying to keep things civil. I see no point in attacking people here. I would rather exchange ideas without name calling and rudeness. Don't you agree?

I think that one of the major geopolitical advantages the US possesses has also worked against us. We have the longest unsecured border in the world to our north, we have a three thousand mile buffer zone to our east and west, and we have no real enemies to the south. So we'll never be invaded.
