A well made, well run site with a terrific little community? $20? Hang on, let me check behind the couch cushions.
(Actually, with the little Aussie dollar flying high I may just be able to resubscribe with loose change. You should start targeting the Aussie market Russ, that's where the real money is.)
P.s. That's also 6,000 moves up. And it only took me a year.

Ok, I will add a link for each different currency. (And then the depressing exchange rate from dollars to pounds will be known by all. 🙁 )

just to provide some historical data:
13Jan03: 14,95 USD = 9,34 GBP = 14,08 EUR = 25,54 AUD
12Jan04: 14,95 USD = 8,07 GBP = 11,66 EUR = 19,24 AUD
fazit: americans don't care (always same price and for the others it's getting cheaper... to the increase is not really much! 🙂 ) _all_ the others are happy, even the aussis... (-;
Russ can you answer genuie's questions?

Lets hope the pound slumps soon, and the US dollar climbs! (I bet there isn't many people in the UK saying that right now)

does this mean that i can pay before feburuary (i.e. now) at the original price? and can i pay now for when my star runs out? (i dunno when it runs out 😕) also-i didn't pay for my star-some kindly, anonamous person did. shall i have to pay for it this year? ja?
If you do want to do this, let me know.
If you wanted to pay by check/cheque, then it is a little simpler, I could just update your subscribed date to be some time in the future (when your current subs runs out)

For the equivalent of $20 (about £12) i can buy;
a cd (as long as it's not a double album)
a dvd with no extras
one new book
one weeks worth of lunches
entry to a soccer match (but only for the first half)
170 tins of beans from Lidl
or a year of entertaining chess and conversation.
I'm just off to think about it 😕

I hate to mention this becaus eit just reminds us of what a petty, litigious society were becoming... but if you quote in more than one currency how are you going to manage it? If you quote it to be $20, €25 and £15 what happens when the currencies shift? Could someone get upset because they pay their $20 but it turns out to be £15.21 because the exchange is different? Linking the quotes to the exchange rates or fixing a fee to each currency both have problems assosiated.
Glad to be back, sorry my first post is negative, and happy to pay $20,
Jon
