My daughter did a semester at the university in Chiand Mai. She absolutely loved it there. The locals there called her lemon because of her "yellow" hair. She even made the cover page of their website.

thai food is nice. there is a restaurant in st andrews, scotland that used to reside down an alley but seems to have been promoted to market-street status, called nahm-jim's. it's fantastic! one of my favourite places to eat. 🙂
