That ain't cuttin' it, Mr. Bowmann. (You see, we Yanks aren't the only ones who don't "get it"... Brits are as guilty as we are.)

I fail to see how any supposed "subtleties" of "the apostrophe becomes acceptable" "since typo is an abbreviation" makes your case.

As I said in my reply, abbreviations do NOT automatically take the "apostrophe-s" as their plural. That is my point, and it's not subtle.

C'mon... you are at the very least incorrect. The first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem.
