I was always a fan of "Dear John", but the BBC unlike most other programmes has never been repeated and it seems to have been deleted from their archives.

as a kid i was really scared of disaster island, it is the only thing on tv i have ever been frightened of.

(i don't like watching gory surgery shows but thats different)

The only thing I remember being scared of was the original Hulk film (or was it a TV series?) with Lou Fierrigno as the Hulk. There's a bit where he breaks out of this big metal tube he's been locked in and I hid behind the sofa! 😳 I was quite young though

Do you think All in the FAmily could happen today with all the politically correct stuff? I mean , he made digs at the "coloreds, the Jews, the wetbacks, etc. It was truly cutting edge in its time. Married with Children was really funny, too. What is it about guys sitting on the couch with their hands in their pants?

There used to be a "Creature Double Feature" and they would usually run a movie like Godzilla or Gamera vs. the Creature from Planet X followed by another movie more like Creature from The Black Lagoon or the one where the old person would feed people to the flesh eating tree...

That had me under the couch cushions... I don't know why I bothered to watch them if I was so scared as a kid... but I loved my time under the cushions! My sister would tell me when it was safe to watch again... for the most part she waited for the scariest thing and said "Ok, it's safe"

"power to the people! " I used to regularly do an impression of a dying fly whilst watching this show. Long live 'wolfy' Smith.
