Chess battleships. A game I've kind of made up but it sort of exists at the same time.
The basic element to the game is to hide your 16 pieces anywhere on the chessboard (a1 -h8) and then guess where your opponents pieces are. If you correctly hit a pawn you win a point, hit the queen win 9 points etc but hit the king and it's game over straight away. Each player would have 9 guesses (or 16) but I'd roll with 9.
The game could be played as knockout or round robin- say 5 players guess 1 players board and so on. We would need an adjudicator to receive a copy of everyone's board to ensure fair play.
I would like to end by saying I think this is a brilliant that I've (possibly) made up.

The tricky part is finding out which word(s) in your post triggered the alert.
