As for Furioustyles' posts, I usually don't read them, too much of a bother.

Alright, the forum has been over run with testosterone as of late. Time to get back to some girly issues. Well I guess this could be considered just an issue as I would love input from both sexes, just note I put more value into the female perspective. 😏
As I haven't been an online user for that long I haven't really had much exposure with the whole "me ...[text shortened]... ree to share your stories too guys, might due some good to hear from the other end of things. 🙂
We didn't meet again because the "chemistry just wasn't correct", but I'd definately put it down as a positive experience.
I'll tell you more when I've met Shavi 😛

But when it comes to some guy chatting me up and wanting to meet me I just get the heebie jeebies. I feel like these guys make a full time job of it or something, fishing for females online. I just don't want to be too naive about the whole thing.
Although I have decided that for now I'm not interested in meeting anybody, online or otherwise. This is still a fairly small town, chances of running into people while out and about are fairly good anyway. Everyone has a pic available and there's still the "main" crowd who live here from before the boom. You know, all went to high school together and that sort of thing.
So, you said you didn't have chemistry with this guy, did you feel you had chemistry when you talked to him online? A kind of attraction? I don't feel that yet (just not ready) but there are a few people I really enjoy talking to. Just wouldn't want to lose the friendship I guess.
Meeting shav....hmmmmm......I'd make sure it was on the coldest day of winter and wear about 3 layers of clothing. 😉
Originally posted by mokkoNo not really. He seemed like a nice guy online, and he was nice in person, but interests just didn't match up. He had the lowest education you get in Germany while I'm on the highest level of school here, he was into techno music while that's the one music style I hate... well, you know the works. Nice experience, but it was a one-time event 😉

And I completely trust Shav... although it is already friggin cold here, so I might really be wearing 3 layers of clothes... though just for the cold-reason 😉
Originally posted by angie88Do you still talk online with this guy? I've been mainly talking to other single parents, just as a form of support. There's more single dads raising their kids full time than I thought. Although my intentions were to meet other single moms. But it's nice to get a fresh perspective sometimes.

Ya, Shav seems like a good fellow.......but you can never go wrong with 3 layers of clothes!
It's starting to get cold here too. Having a funeral for all my lovely little skirts and my 3 dozen or so odd pair open toed shoes. :'( But on the bright side it's boot shopping season 😀
Originally posted by mokkoOn the bright side??? 😲😲😲 On the bright side, I finally found some really comfortable and practical boots a few years ago. Originally posted by NordlysThat's why when you find a great pair of comfy boots always try to buy a few pairs of them. Especially if on sale! 😀 Boots take alot more punishment than most footwear so you're lucky if they lasted two years. Most of my boots are extremely uncomfortable but small price to pay. The ones that have style and practicality I buy doubles of. Preferably in two different colors for varying outfits! 😉

Not to mention I get to buy a couple new jackets for my collection. Winter might not be so bad afterall.
