Yosemite in the winter
yours?
@rajk999 saidSounds wonderful and something I've never had the pleasure of seeing.

We have some beautiful scenery right here in Nova Scotia. People come from around the world to go around the Cabot Trail in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. I've been over to Newfoundland as the better half is from there and some really beautiful scenery over there also. Of course I am bias.
I'd like to see Niagara Falls from the American side in New York which everyone claims is the best view. I'd also like to go for a ride under the falls which they were doing every summer except last year. Not sure if they did it in 2019 or not. You have to wear rain gear including the hat.

@rajk999 saidAnd a lot of beautiful fish swimming around the coral to view while snorkelling, sign me up. Shame all the coral is slowly dying.

@rajk999 saidIt is, sad and infuriating, some of it is natural, the boxing day tsunami whipped out a lot of coral but man has a lot to answer for as well. Did a snorkeling trip in Thailand, boats anchor went into the coral, boat driver didn't care, complained to the tour operator and they also didn't care.
Yes... dying because of irresponsible reef management. It is a sad situation.
@trev33 saidThe blame has to fall squarely on the shoulders of the irresponsible govts. Here in Tobago the reefs are a mess and the govt does precious little. Compare that with the Cayman Islands. On many beaches there is big signboard stating that this is a marine park, protected by law. No removal of coral or any aquatic life. Failure to observe can lead to a fine of $500,000 US and/or 6 months imprisonment. I remember once a yacht belonging to celebrity dropped anchor there on a reef and he was fined about $100,000 or thereabouts. They dont mess around with their environment.

@rajk999 saidMore likely due to global warming/lessening of the ozone layer.

Reefs all over the world are seeing bleaching from exposure to more ultraviolet rays.
@suzianne saidI’ve been to 41 countries (including a few stopovers which probably shouldn’t count but I’m counting them 😂) so it’s an impossible question.
It is a subjective question. It assumes "In your opinion".
@suzianne saidAnd who is causing that?

All humans, everything wrong in the world - humans.
